<p>i have 2 medium i believe they were called spiral apple snails. im just getting a little over run with apple snails at present so have decided to give these 2 away. if anyone wants them or would like to trade something in the portsmouth area please let me no thanks!</p>
27G - 1 platty, 1 african clawed frog, 2 mollies, cories (panda, lazer, bronze,albino, peppered), 2 penguin tetra, chain loach
25G - 6 galaxy rasboras, 1 bumblebee goby, lots of dwarf livebearers, shrimp, 2 types of pygmy cories, 2 sunfish, mini molly,12 spotted blue eyes, 2 clown killifish
25G - 1 yoyo loach, 4 peacock gobies, 2 marble hatchetfish, 1 keyhole cichilid, 2 swordtail
25G - 5 Sae, Lots of guppies, Bol ram, Bos Rainbowfish, BN pleco
7G - 3 dwarf puffers, 1 otto

canas? when i was sold them i was told they were apple snails i dont no... they do eat bits of plants if they run out of cleaning areas, but there in my tank thats getting puffers in soon so they must go!

there are different types of apple snails, the usual ones "brigs" are the size of walnuts, eat mostly algae, no plants and soft rotting vegitation, "canas" grow to the size of baseballs will eat most plants and they are banned in area of the states where they can wipe out fields of vegetation, i had one once smuggled in and i did wonder why most of plants had half their leaves eaten. These need specialist tanks. di

Sad. i just need to get rid of them. none of my shops round here even sell snails so they wont take them. i dont no anyone with fish! any ideas what i could do with them?
