Can anyone give me any help with one of my rams.

The tummy of this little fella is changing shape and goes in.

Not sure why as the other ram is ok, I check the water each week with API test kit and i do a 10% or 15% water change on a weekly basis.

I have a attached pic for refernce

Have you looked at his poos recently? Are they white and stringy, or healthy looking? Also, are you sure he's eating well?

Not seen his poo but i will keep watching.

As for eating, i would say he eats fine and acts fine, if it wasn't for his tummy i wouldn't know anything is wrong.

Hi i you say its eating ok? What is it eating and how much? {roughly} How long you had the fish?
If eating ok then it could be an internal infection? Which would be very hard to treat i'm afraid.

Hi,
Had the ram for approx 7 weeks.
They are fed once a day on flake and twice a week on frozen.
The frozen packs come in cubes and it is a mixed tray suitable for tropical fish.

The other rams is feeding ok and looks in perfect health

All my other fish look ok with no problems.

I am at a loss??

Hi does sounds a little ominus. The feeding regime sounds about right, and a nice mix so thats not your problem? Could be something the fish had when you bought it - but taken this long to show? All you can really do is to keep an eye on it and make sure its feeding ok and see what happens - wish i could be of more help

It could be intestinal worms, a dose of wormer should sort that out if it is. Kusuri's wormer plus is one of the easier ones to use. If not, it'll be an internal bacterial infection, so you'd need to use antibiotics to treat it.
