I've seen this, and also thought it was great.  Hilarious.

Just watched "April Fools Day (2008)" Typical murder film where you wonder whose the culprit with a little twist at the end. Worth a view but wait for the dvd rental or watch online. I wouldn't pay at a cinema to watch it.

Pictures wise, I want to see the new Indy movie just to re-live my early days.  It still looks funny to see the posters on the wall, takes me back.

Also, quite fancy Hancock, looks really good and funny.

Watched The Forbidden Kingdom, it isn't actually out till July here.  I'm not the biggest martial arts fan, but Jet Li and Jackie Chan (I like him, due to his mix of humour) where great in it and I really enjoyed the movie.  There was a monkey magic feel to it.

Watched The Mist and The Happening.

Probably shouldn't have bothered.

I watched No Country for Old Men a couple of nights back.  I've been really looking forward to seeing this one but oh dear, what a disappointment.  I knew it was slow, this doesn't worry me in the slightest, but it was slooooooow!  And Tommy Lee Jones' character... what's he there for?  I don't know about anyone else but when the film finished I just sort of sat there thinking "is that it"?  If anyone was to ask me what the story was about I really couldn't tell them.  Yes, great performances from all involved but there's just no point to the whole thing and it's all left completely unresolved.  I wanted to like this film so much, but I just can't.  Four Oscars!?  Amazing.

Quite a few people who reviewed in it the media  said it was slow and boring. One of them said it should be called No country for women as there are hardly any in it if at all. I'll never be watching it so I wouldn't know!Big Smile

I could never understand why The English Patient got oscars and was so hyped up. I thought it was a load of rubbish.

And what the hell was Fight Club all about LOLcrazy2

They have been showing the killer tomatoes films on the Horror movie channel recently. The worst acting you'll ever see LOL. I had one of them on in the background the other day whilst making a card and have awful concentration, but I still managed to follow it ! Makes you wonder what these people are on when they write all this rubbish.

And another afternoon it was killer monster frogs from hell ! Half man half frog LOLcucumber

Fight club is immense, such a clever film - with a bit of ultra violence thrown in for good measure!

I watched it in full the other week after seeing bits of it before. I don't mind twisted films like that, and I like Ed Norton, but on the whole, I wasn't that keen on the filmConfused

It was a bit like Vanilla sky which is also an odd film.

Honestly, I thought it was one of the best films of modern times, truly brilliant.  Watching it again, once you know the twists, is like watching a whole new movie and it still hangs together even with the benefit of hindsight.

Blood diamond... another film I thought was terrific.  Di Caprio's very under-rated IMO, people seem to just consider him a pretty-boy...

It was alright - nowt special, bit of typical hollywood sentationalism and history rewriting, making us all feel guilty for buying diamonds etc, but a well shot, well acted film for all of that.
