:'( The tears are real Frank as I read that.
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Sad
It's nearly a year since we lost our cat willow and I still get very upset.
Especially on Mondays as it's the day she died.

It's a member of our family we lose and it hits hard.
Having just lost your father-in-law too it but be even worse for you.
My thoughts are with you all.

Thanks.

I guess it's a little harder to take due to the operation, the thoughts are going around the family saying "We should've went sooner" and "We shouldn't have took her at all for the Op".

She had a small growth (lump) on her side that suddenly ballooned just around Xmas time, took her to the PDSA where they cut open the lump to release fluid, and then removed what they said was a tumour, collected her on Thursday and she seemed so tired, presumely with the drugs taken in the morning during the op.  However she seemed to be weak and could barely stand and then obviously her heart must've gave in, in the end.

Although she did have the big lump on her side, she wasn't in any pain, and was still playful, however this op must've been just too much.  :'( Sad

Sorry to hear about your sad end to the year, Frank.

I have one cat, Billy Whizz (he is gorgeous, semi-longhair and has the markings of a cow!) but he can't live with me at the mo (I'm in a rented place) so he stays with my parents and gets spoilt. I make do with temporary pets by volunteering as a Cat Socialiser at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home - it means I get to love 20-30 different cats every Sunday! Very therapeutic  Smile

Awwwww well Mungo and Midge say hi to Zeus wave  I get them out of their cage most nights and put them in their ' play pen' for the evening, they adore having their sand baths, it's so comical crazy3
