PINK pmsl :bash: ok maybe not , dunno what kinda atmosphere are u after ? n what kind of lighting do you have in the room...

quick out lay of the effect i am going for in my room, beech chest of drawers , beech comp desk , beech tank stand ( 2nd tank ) , beech coloured bed, black skirting boards. main feature wall a wheat / sand coloured paper with calligraphy letter set randomly. and on other walls a darker sand colour solid colour. with a 3 way 20 watt halogen spot lighting, and to help with a warm feeling to the room a slightly darker carpet which will make the paper lighter in effect.
ok lol i went over board with the description n detail a tad ok well a lot but neva mind lol.
ps. forgot to mention if ya don't like the sound of my room then tough hehe its ma room no yours oh aye its ma cash as well ( and a lot of it EEEEEK )

7ft square crap thats small ,,,,, mines is 10 ft wide x 15ft long.

but i spend most of me spare time {well some of it ;D}
in me fish house a glorified shed! 8 x 12! {perhaps i should put me bed in there }:2funny:
The joys of still living at home! but to be honest only sleep in my bedroom so size doesn't matter ;D
but after reading your description on how your gonna do your room has inspired me to do mine O0 {sometime }

i do a lot of photographt theese days too, have a canon eos 400D and love it to pieces! Away to upgrade to a 40D though, because its a BEAST! hopefully be able to afford the 70-200mm f2.8L woth teh change
