Im totally overrun with this plant, anybody want any main and/or daughter plants are welcome to some for postage costs, or ill trade you something, if you're not sure what vallis is, if you go to my other posts - here http://www.fishcrazy.co.uk/forums/t/19453.aspx, there are pics of my tanks and its the long tall grass like plants esp in the two fluval tanks (not the corner one). It grows well without co 2 and sends out runners with baby plants on (daughter plants) which grow roots and colonise your tank. It takes a while to do this and its not that much of a problem, it does make an excellent backdrop though, for those without backing and fry love to hide amongst it. Anyway if you want some you know what to do, di
Always remember that you are unique; just like everyone else.
Yes please, Di
Could you grow some twisted vallis? Just for me

Thing is with that twisted vallis mike, it usually grows straight
As you know Di, I can never keep vallis in our tank. It just disintegrates.
I know I haven't mentioned the cardamine since you asked me for some. But what with the whitespot and treatment I didn't want to send you anything dodgy. Plus, it hasn't been looking as good since all that treatment etc, so I am trying to get it on track again then I will see what I can do. But it's very difficult to separate being so thin and delicate.
I always have plenty of heteranthera
Your card is nearly finished though
you are so sweet jan, sending me a card, you really shouldnt waste your valuable time, and feel free to enclose any plant cuttings, its funny what you say about twisted vallis as ive added some in the past and it always seems to grow straight, i think its something to do with the lighting. di
It's no problem Di. Thought it might help to cheer you up
I won't be able to enclose any cutting though as the card would get ruined
