Try adding some salt (aquarium salt) and do daily water changes about 20% a day with dechlorinated water left to adjust to the temp of the bowl. di

Always remember that you are unique; just like everyone else.

Does the bowl have any filtration? It's also really too small for goldfish, as they ideally need 8 gallons (36L) of water each..

Hi Shellybelly, welcome to FC Smile

Salts may help but in all honesty, ALL fish should be kept i a filtered system. Goldfish bowls should be 100% banned from lfs's(local fish shops) and stuffed with an outdoor/indoor plant!!

You can get air driven undegravel fillters for bowls but most of the bowls are really much too small as Nic said.

If you can accomodate and afford it, you'd be best getting a proper fishtank with filtration ShellyYes

As Nic has said 8gallons per goldfish . They are incredibly messy fish as no doubt you have observed. So in effect they are literally living in a toilet that never gets flushed in a bowl with no filtration. Sorry about that, but that's about the sum of itSad
