Ive got a fluval deep only is 1200 (bigger than yours) 
and damn nice tanks they are as well, ive replaced my light tubes a couple of times now, and to be honest still not sure what the best combination is, ive a sun glo and a flora glo, and have tries the aqua glo.
I was told (by some idiot) the its the sun glo that makes the algae gro, so i had a flora and a aqua for a bit, but it does make your tank darker, its better to get a timer and have the lights on less often. The sell them at www.seapets.co.uk but there is a place that does all sizes of lights not just for tanks and they are cheaper and i thought about giving them a go.
