Does anybody know of a really really small external filter for my 12 litre (yes 12 litre - 2.63 Gallons) tank?
Having problems with my internal - an aqau vital tiny job - it only has a tiny single filter pad that blocks after about 2 days.
If there isn't a tiny external, how about a decent internal than aint to big.

i've used then filter box's you hang on the side and they was great, but it had a little to much flow rate fro my small tank.

I have a 200 and 100 model
They'd be ok in a small cube but crap if the tank is long as the return flow goes down not across the tank.

What media (and how much) can you get in them?
i'll take a photo as i haven't used the 100 model, still boxed up. Used the 200 but not currently in use right now.
I payed aroud £15 a few years back and it was an aqua one.

This was 100 model 11.99 and 200 was 13.99 so not dear filters.

flow rate can be turned down aswell if it's still too strong.

well i've been talking to those nice gents at Aqua essentials and there is a 'ickle external out there called the Eden 501.
It's designed for tanks up to 60 litres and has a maximum turnover of 300 lph. However, they reckon that this is without media etc and that it should be fine for a 12 litre tank.
Will probably give this one a go as it seems to be exactly what I was after. If it don't work i'll be knocking on your door mate.
