I'm wondering if it might be a better idea if you get a tie for any of the placings that the person responsible for the competition makes a decision on who get's the deciding vote.
I'd prefer to see a 1, 2 and 3 with no joint winners.

been having a browse through the comp pics in the "gallery" and when I click on "may" it say's "no record found"
Did you forget to put them back on or have they been lost?
I haevtn put them there yet, takes a bit of time and atm spare time is a luxery for me, I will get round to it as soona s I have a spare half hour

Yes it was May, yes it was a while a go, we all know may ended up being a cockup. I am sorry I can't fix something at the beck and call of some people, I am but one man and have many more important things to do.
FYI They where never in the May gallery, they where in the nominations directory that gets auto cleared when a new comp is started, and the names of the photos are randomised, and to compound things there was an error and the table that held the names of may are no more, soI need to restore a backup to get them hence why I said it will take a while to do.
FFS I dont get paid to do this site, and I am sorry if things more important to life in general take precedence in my life at this point in time

Just thinking out aloud, but is there a place that all the winning photos for that year get's put into a gallery?
Also the little badge thingies, you don't keep them running and have the possibility of someone with about 6 stars taking up god knows how much space on their posts? If this would be the case, would it not be best to just put their highest placing star in their profile?
