Set my RO Unit up at the weekend.
However I was sure I had put the tubing on correctly for the waste and pure water tubes.
However when I ran the water the water started coming out quickly from the Blue instead of the Orange (Waste water).
I've just left the tubing on now though...............LOL.
However when I did look at the instructions I did think I had done it correctly and was sure that the small tubing that is in the unit to start with where correct.
Not having much clue in these gadget things, I am right though that the water is obviously coming out quicker from the waste?

Yes, you'll get more waste water than production. You could always send the waste to a container for watering your plants if you want.
As richy said, you get 4 or 5 times the water out of the waste than production.
If your unsure then test it - the waste will be high in nitrates/phosphates/chlorine etc, the bit you want will have very low nitrates/phosphate, no chlorine etc

they're good as you just leave them plugged in and just press the on button when you want to do a quick check. I'd say let it run a few mins first to get a good reading as it may be false if the RO unit has been turned off as there'll be a buildup inside the unit. It's a good indicator also which gives you an idea when the membranes etc should be replaced
That's only really checking the Water purity, I was meaning more the other tests you do.
