    shrimp help!

     Hi all,

    We recently added 4 amano shrimp into our tank and have a query about 1 of them.

    When we bought them they were all the same size, but the 1 is now near enough double the size of the others and i'm now unsure if it is an amano could somebody confirm if it is or not?

     

     

    If it is, is it normal for them to grow at different rates?

    200L Amazon Tank - 1 x Male Betta, 1 x Bristlenose Plec, 5 x Neon Tetra, 3 x White Tip Rosy Tetra, 2 x Golden Pristella Tetra, 1x Glowlight Tetra, 2 x Male Guppies, 4 x Amano Shrimp, 3 x Rainbow Fish, 6 x Harlequin Rasbora, 6 x Black Harlequin Rasbora and 1 x Peppered Cory.

     Yes it's an amano!

    Females grow to twice the size of the males.

    Don't worry!

    Ditto, same problem, same conclusion. Looks like I've a good mix of males and females then... Huzzah !
