Well some may of noticed that I've not been around of late but I've had a lot of things to do with personal stuff and work.

But hopefully this time next week I'll also of moved and once i payed BT the £124.99 connection  (rip off) fee I'll soon be back on Smile

 Did notice that you hadn't posted for a while mate - but i have spotted you coming and going now and then!

Good luck with the move - 125 quid connection fee - you setting up a bloomin office!

A fee like that then i'm pressuming it's a new estate where BT isn't established much yet. A freind of mine had the same problem a few year ago and couldn't get cable either so had to stump up the money to BT to get a line!! At the time I think it was about £100!!

I had noticed you were quiet but didn't know why. Hope you get it all sorted soom mate ;)

I had to pay the BT fee for my second broadband line..I only cancelled my second line 3 months before to Sad

Its a new build so needs an engeneer to goto the then exchange and activate the line!!!!! Thats £125

Thats the same for 4 removal guys for 2 hours to help us move the heavy stuff!!!!!!

Still BT has wired the flat and put in all the connections and phone line for free so far.

 if there paying a bloke £125 to put a bit of wire into a sockt in an exchange then i want that job,goo luck with the moveYes

 Thing is that guy will probably be getting about £12.50 from that job.

Good luck with the move mate and hope your on more regularly soon once you've got everything sorted.

Tank no2 = 6 auralis barbs,2 needle gars,1 molly,1 dat microlepis,1 trye track eel and 8 bristlenoses! Tank no 3 = 2 goldfish{on holiday}1 flag tail thingy{over twenty years old},4 silver dats,1 pim and a plec!

I've just had to stump up the same amount for BT to connect me in my new flat. 

I thought at the time that it was a rip off and still do.

 i tried to get sky broadband but i cant as "BT" havent upgraded my area and no plans for the future,so i can only have "BT" broadband

Good luck in your new home Helter.  I had to pay a similar fee as I live in a new build, its a pain in the bum but what can you do? They've got you by the proverbials!!Wink
