Not as exciting as the others, but just been experimenting with the settings on my current camera. Although I am looking to get a new one still
Not up to the standard of Bluedave's pics
But then I don't take as many either
Full tank shot be it a bit far away!
Bit further in
Lobelia cardinalis.
These plants have all evolved from one or two inital plants. Quite old now. The red colour they have when new soon goes, even under the T5s and iron ferts. One had grown right up to the water's surface .So I cut it down today

Ammania senegalensis.
Two of these were once sent in place of something else from Greenline. They grow like mad the stop growing, then go mad again to the water's surface. The colour gets very intense according to the light. If the light isn't enough they soon start to go green. It's only more recently that they have bushed out and I have several small plants from them now. Before they started to bush out the main stem grew quite thick and the leaves bigger.
Another shot of the same
Crypt 'Tropica'
At last my hygro difformis has taken off. Infact it's almost taking over
Hadn't been able to keep it for a year or more. But now I have got rid of all the polysperma it's doing well
I am looking at putting some senegalensis in the trigon Lilac, it's a lovely plant.
Thanks Dave
It's definately much better than it has been of late
Yes that is a lovely plant and when it takes off it does go quite mad
Should do well in your tanks
lovely foliage you got there jan!!!
wish i had the nack of keeping live plants.... mine just seem to die on me..... must try again, as am having a real battle with algae again!!! time to strip the tank and start again!!!
Hey Matt good to 'see ya'
Thanks. Had a horrible year or so with the tank, but hopefully, and I am sat here almost falling off the chair crossing everything, things have turned a corner
Sorry to hear you are having algae problems
well, looks like your time and patience has really paid off!! tank looks great......
must admit, have been putting off the tank strip down for a little while now, but really must get on with it..... wanna enjoy my tank again!!
Nice to see you too
Don't know about paid off, I have certainly been peed off with it LOL
Stripping down a tank is something I'd probably be putting off too Matt. Hope it goes well and resolves the problem
Abso-bloomin' loverly.
The tank's not bad either!!!
Well done, Jan. Patience is a virtue; I can't wait to get some
Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes
Mike
