     The new Mercury vapour Light fitting turned up fresh from Germany a couple of weeks ago, hadn't had time to set it up until today. Also re-scaped the trigon. Pics to Enjoy:

    TANK 1. 1 BGK, Pair Gold Panchax, 1 Sailfin plec. Mopani wood + Fake silk plants. Substrate, sand + gravel. Ext filt.

    WEBCAM  TANK 2. 15 Copper Harlequins (Hengeli), 3 albino bristlenose (2 m + 1 f), 1 Lda031, 1 Male CT Betta, 2 Adolphi Cory's, 5 chain loach, 3 Albino Cory(1 highfin), 4 Axelrodi Cory, 15 pygmy cory's, 2 Hoplo Littorale, 12 Popondetta Furcata, 3 Bamboo Shrimp, 6 Amano shrimp & 1 misc long armed shrimp (possibly Indian). Plants, Sword, Bacopa Caroliniania, Vallis Nana, Rotala Wallichii & Cabomba, Driftwood. Susbtrate, sand + gravel. Ext filter.

     It's 125 W Mike, replacing 108W T5 lighting.

    I have a bare patch at the front right that I haven't decided what to do with yet. Next to the Nymphea lotus, below the peice of wood jutting out with the java moss on it, in front of the hygrophilia stricta 'Thai' - anybody got any ideas on a plant that would look good there - something that grows between 6-10 inches so it sits below the wood, quite bushy?

    how about Rotala Wallichii, yes it grows taller than you want and is fast grower but you can trim it down. It would love your new light Smile

     Good shout mate,

    I had ignored rotala sp. because I already have rotala macranda, but wallichii has a much smaller and different leaf shape, would like the CO2 injection and  pH as well as the light. Easily trimmed to height - hmmmmmmmmm.

    Any other ideas?
