Well the stuff i get which is brineshrimp is already soaked. But you can buy a garlic puree from the supermarket which is made with garlic so should be ok. If not just crush some gloves and put in a sealed back with some prawns and put in fridge over night. I imagine the rays would go nuts for it!!!
Anyway possibly worth a try, as said before i would do a salt dip and see how he reacts to that, it sounds almost definately some form of aggression between the rays. You should have seen the state of my female motoro years ago when boris my male decided he wanted to start a family. She eventually recovered in a q tank and most of her disc grew back, she was however badly scarred. Unfourtunately i put her back in thinking boris would be ok after a break, he killed her in the end.

Hi thanks Matt,i shall give it ago! My other two retic rays are acting strange but from what i have seen they too are fighting albeit not as agresivly!! So i am asuming that i will end up with only one way regardless of what happens to the other ray! He is still doing well and feel he is slowly looking better!?

I am also looking to rehome my aro and one of my rays,got some interests but not definate!
Hi thought i'd update this. The ray is doing really well and has almost completly healed now.
I had not really noticed how well the ray is doing till i had a visit from toesucker120 and he said how well it looked so when i had a look at the photo's WOW that is one healthy looking ray

Thats excellent news, amazing what they will pull through. Just make sure the ray is safe from any kind of attacks for a little while. Its imune system will need to build up again and also its strength.
