We don't have an excessive amount of blanket weed but it does of course get worse when the weather heats up. I have usually used blanc-it excel but it doesn't seem to work that well. I also have some phosphate remover stuff too.

i had blanket weed several foot long  in my big pond one one bottle of clover leaf later it was all gone it really is great stuff

 Just to agree with the guys, Cloverleaf Blanket answer is fantastic! I only half dosed at 2 intervals and the pond completly cleared. Had no further problems with BW this season, 5 months later Yes

But with the weather being coolish the blanketweed seems to have nearly gone. I am armed with my trusty cloverleaf now though and will be using itSmile

Yep, it appears to be great stuff - don't know if it would take my weight but it certainly stops the missus having a panic attack when the kids go near it!
