This is my pond it 16ft long around 10ft wide and about 5ft deep contains approximatly 2500 gallons of water and currently has 21 fish 19 koi, 1 common carp and 1 mirror carp It is currently been filtered by a Oasis specialist 23000 which was recommended as being suitable but i have since found out it can only handle a 1500gallon koi pond leaving me 1000gallons short. but I believe this will now be sorted as saturday I bought a Cloverleaf ADTEC Genesis 9000 filter which is being delivered wednesday. Anyway heres some pics enjoy
this is from last year when it was first built
6ftx2ftx18" mixed Malawi's, 2 Plecs, Syno Angelicus and 5 syno multipunctatus 4ftx1.3ftx1ft all M.Auratus fry what appears to be S.Fryeri fry 4 P.Demansoni and L-075 Para plec
this was afew weeks later this fish are the reason this pond was built they where my Grandads and his pond was way to small he was having trouble looking after them and my nan so he agreed we good have them if we built a pond for them. Unfortunatly he died early this year and never got to see them in ther new home
This is the pond a few months later witha few more fish and plants
The waterfall coming along nicely the cupboard underneath it houses all the electrics, UV, air pump and the big external water pump with prefilter
These are how it looks at the moment the current filter has been moved so we can get the new one in it's place water fall is now finished and algae has completely covered the blue G4 paint
this is the pond my grandad had we now have it in our garden with 5 gold fish in there it's 6ft by 4ft by 2ft IIRC
great pics mate, the pond really has matured nicely, grandad's pond looks tiny in comparison lol
thanks for sharing
it's my union flag and i want it back

Only joshing with you mate, it's a cracking pond
All them holes in the top course of bricks - could do with a nice half round top course or something?
Only my opinion mate
