Nice to be here - been a fish keeper since my teens, but due to moving around for years not been able to have a tank - until now - in the process of starting one right now. Owned an aquarists for 2 years back in the '80's. Look forward to learning more

12 litre tank - 4 japonica shrimp, 4 Red crystal shrimp, 5 High Spot Rasbora
Anubias Barteri, Glossostigma Elatanoides, Ammania Senegalisis, Limnophilia Sessiflora, Bacopa amplexicaulis
Right now sitting there waiting for me to get started. Me? waiting for the final delivery of bits and pieces.
30x18x12 tank
JBL e900 external with Eheim ehfi substrate pro and maybe peat plus the usual ceramic rings and foam.
Hydro external heater
Maybe Vecton2 UV
Arcadia Luminaire unit
Decoration - redmoor wood plus rocks
Substrate gravel with laterite underneath plus a separated area of sand for Corys.
Fish, (what I want and what I can have 2 different things! Want Discus, but no space or money right now). Porbably mollies and/or platys, pair of dwar gourami, cardinal tetras and Corys.
Planting - still deciding on that, but going probably for greenmachine plants. Want a set up like the natural tank one in PFK September.
Plant nutrition - Easylife Profito plus maybe easy carb as I don't want to go the route of CO2.
WIll post photos as I start work. Already built a gravel/sand divider from a strip of black plastic - covered it with gravel both sides and edge so it will not be seen once in place, (used silicone sealant to attach the gravel - to me too!).
Hi and welcome to fishcrazy
I have a couple of suggestions? I would give the livebearers a miss if you are going to add peat most livebearers prefer hard water
But the dwarf gouramis,cardinals and corys should all be fine together
Look forward to seeing the photo's {espcially of the divider}
