This is going to be a diary of the set up/running of my betta tank.
Tank size: 25L/5 gal.. 18"x10"x10"
Equipment: Eliete mini internal filter, 50W heater, 25W halogen light, possibly DIY Co2 in the near future..
Substrait: at the mo, it's just black sand, but, i'm going to go for soil under the sand. So it'll be about 1.5" deep.
Hardscaping: Not too sure wether to go for rose quartz, slate, or a mixture of both..
Theme: dosn't have one, it's going more for prettiness then a technical theme.
Water Quality.. Not entirely sure, it all seems fine, but seeing how I don't have any test kits at home, i couldn't possibly tell you..
Inhabitants: One Betta splendens, and a peice of rose quartz!

Future Plans: Get the tank planted up with crypts and maybe a couple of Anbubias species.

Unfortunately... this tank didn't get much further on then it did in the pic, i didn't really have the resources to do much with it.
But now the fishy in in a new home, and this tank's no longer set up, so i'm going to close this thread.
When I get my tank for college however, i'll start a nice new tank diary up!
