new dwarf cichlid set up

hi there

have just set up an old tank i had hanging around,its only 10 uk gal wasnt sure what to keep

after much thought have decided to have a few dwarf cichlids probably apistos
do you think this is a good idea
my husband keeps telling me that the tank is too small,i disagree as long as i am carefull i think it will be fine

please let me know ur thoughts

depends how many you plan on keeping

is the tank a 24x12x12

if so i reckon you will be ok with a pair.

plant the tank well and have a coconut cave and they should be fine and dandy O0

dont know what the measurements are its a via aqua 380
just a pair of apistos ,
do they prefer softer water or not fussed.
had one before and he seemed ok with harder water.
i have put in some bog wood ,plants and a small pot for a cave O0

ask the shop what the water conditions in their tank are.

have you got a tape measure

hmmmm pushing it in my humble opinion :-\

would hate to do it if they wont be happy
