I'm thinking of buying a Super red Super Red Arowana, Should I get a pair instead of just 1, or will they be just as good mates with the guppies? Thanks.

They'll absolutely love the guppies.

7 8 tanks (tropicals) Big Smile, and a pond.

a super red will grow to about a meter, and will need a 10 foot tank to be happy, and i'd say that it would be mates with the guppies for about 5 minutes, and then it'll be looking for desert :Smile

have a look at this site, it's run by probably the top arro dealer in the country, if you're still serious talk to him Wink

you cant keep 2 aros together when they are young they will kill each other within a week

you need to keep more than 4 asian aros together to stop the fighing and they cost £1200+ each so if you have a spare £6,000 laying around then go for it

Why don't you get a Red Tailed Gold instead- It is more affordable, looks good and has some Red arowana attributes- in fact i would go as far as to say it is the best value asian aro in the market.

PS Edd thanks for the plug, nice one. O0
