The tank is an 60 litre tank roughly and the fish in there right now are
plec
one female siamese
one catfish 4 inches
one rasbora
one convict cichlid
three cichlid not sure what kind sorry but there small
Now put three cichlids in tank and now one is playing dead all the time ( one is orange with tiger stripes other two are bluewith black stripes) and the other two chase constantly, there is one in the tank that is the bullie that likes to rule the tank, it just chases the cichlids not the siamese or rasbora. Now the others are scared to swim around and end up hiding all the time. Introduced the convict cichlid and it is being chased by this bullie. Tried to take him out into a tank quarantine a little breeding tank sitting above 5 inches roughly of the surface, but its the most attractive and stunning of the lot and be shame to take him out of the tank all together so am not sure what to do.
Why do cichlids all behave like this had an angel fish it was lovely to look at but was a terror to anything else.
Realise that cichlids should be species only tanks but this bullie doesnt pick on the catfish plec rasbora or siamese its simply not interested.
Also what is the ideal temp for cichlids?
The orange fish is it like this?
The blues, anything like this.
Can you get pics of them if not.
As for temperature, if they're african cichlids mid 70s is suffice.
