Live Rock move over to small unit - okay?

I've got around 25kg of Live Rock that I intend to get rid of, but I want it out the big tank so that I can empty it and put it to bed.

I have a small tank (sorry can't mind the dimensions, it's around 50-60L) which I was going to move over the Live Rock (and some sand) and stick in a couple of powerheads to ensure good water movement round it.

It is pretty small as you can guess and the Live Rock will be quite a bit, do you think I'll get many problems doing this?

I do also have a 80L plastic tub thingy which I could use in it's place which is far taller, however I do use this for water changes etc, but this could be used in it's place.

Forgot to say, I have a couple of Chromis that would need to go in there too until they're away.

    Okay thanks Richy that's grand.

The water will come across from the current set-up, so it's really just a different tank but water etc is from the big unit that I need to close down.

Should be fine, but I'd personally use the larger tub, just to the rocks a bit more spread out. Smile

It's all good now anyway, they're all away.

Just waiting now on the tank going.

I would have it (buy it) if i were in a downstairs flat. I want a bigger tank for BR again but being in an upper flat and unsure of the floor spooks me, plus there is a barbers shop below lol

"What would you like sir? short back and sides or a 6ft tank on your head??"  2funny2funny2funnyEmbarrassedCool
