    Buying fish online

Hi all, sorry I've not been around for a while.

I know its not recommended, but I'm looking for a reputable online store to buy WCMM, Stone sucking loach, and a clean up crew of shrimp.  My travelling is limited due to ill health, So I'm stuck between buying from pet cemetary or online.  Hence any online recommendations.

    Thanks in Advance.

Some people use Trimar and if you register with them you get offers emailed to you. I haven't tried them myself but I think Di probably uses them most.

Thank you, I will contact them and see if they can get the stone sucking loach in for me. They have WCMM and maybe an apple snail would be a good clean up crew member.

     Many thanks

Good luck with your purchase, Becky Yes

I'd like to ask a couple of questions to you all (sorry for hijacking your thread, Beck - I hope you don't mind Wink)

    DUMB QUESTIONS ALERT:

    1) If you buy livestock over the web, what happens if you are out (at work, say) when the courier arrives? Do they leave the fish (or whatever) or do they take it away if they can't get an answer?

    2) If they do leave the parcel unattended (or with a neighbour), how long will the livestock last in the parcel?

    DUMB QUESTIONS OVER tiphat

    TIA

Usually they are sent by Parcle force or specialist delivery company with next day delivery it's it organised for a day when some will be home, and live fish will always be sent with a grrenatee on befor 1pm (some offer 11am). if not recived they will go back to depo where you then have to collect them.

    2) If they do leave the parcel unattended (or with a neighbour), how long will the livestock last in the parcel?

If the fish are packed well (1 fish per bag) that can survive 2-3 days happily in a bag and by requesting something like ammo lock to be added this can be pushed to 5-8 days depending on the fish.
If it's cold the seller should also use heat packs, i use 40 houre packs just incase thy do get lost or something.

I've never lost a fish when posting Smile
