these are in my 150gallon tank. the tiger oscars are 11" & 9" and the severums are a 6" mated pair. i have had a few spawns but they havent got it right yet. im looking forward to when they do.

sorry but the flash wont help any ive tried. it only shows up on the glassbut ill grab another light the next time thanks for looking and replying. what do you keep?
Have you tried macro mode on your camera Ruckus?
If you get the settings right, you don't need to use the flash at all, but will get much better lit pics

As lilac said the Macro facility on your camera might help, mine also has a setting for backlit subjects which i use when taking piccies of the tanks.
I've got three tanks mate big, medium and small, lol.
I've got some threads going of each of them with photos and that on here somewhere.
