Hi there,

My Colt coral is too big now, I am going to have a go at fragging it.  Does anyone have any hints and tips for this?

Also, would anyone be interested in a frag?

Cheers,

Wayne

Scissors or a sharp knife but be careful.

I took mine to work (at the time) and it was fragged/snipped and it didnt take too kindly. They're normally ok but we pressumed it was down to different water params so I'll say, frag it yourself in the same water but in a seperate tank/bowl or whatever. IE, remove it and place it in a bowl of the same water, snip it then place back in system. You can tie it to LR via cable ties or fishing wire etc but not too tightly as it needs to expand. If too loose it may escape and go anywhere, if too tight it may split through the tie so try and get a happy medium Smile

Sorry if my reply looks jumbled but i'm having a good drink lol Big Smile

My reply may also be jumbled as i've taken the missus out for a drink tonight but......

use a sharp knife and/or scissors to frag and then keep it in the same system for a while, don't move it to a diffferent system at all for a few weeks.

 LOL............

About fragging, when I do mine, for more delicate jobs I use this instrument.

axe

Fragging is hard though, especially when they jump around a lot.
