    Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to allow people to have 3 votes as there's a 1st,2nd and 3rd place tokens on their profiles if voted on. There is great photo's out there and not easy to vote for just 1.

    This month  so far seems dominated by a few but I feel it's an unfair reflection on the photo's entered :(

    What I'm trying to say is, even if 1 pic is standing out then others shouldn't be discounted as 0 votes if they great pics too. I hope you know what I mean :) Give everyone a 1,2,3 option if feasible :)

    What is your thoughts on this?

     

    TANK 1. 1 BGK, Pair Gold Panchax, 1 Sailfin plec. Mopani wood + Fake silk plants. Substrate, sand + gravel. Ext filt.

    WEBCAM  TANK 2. 15 Copper Harlequins (Hengeli), 3 albino bristlenose (2 m + 1 f), 1 Lda031, 1 Male CT Betta, 2 Adolphi Cory's, 5 chain loach, 3 Albino Cory(1 highfin), 4 Axelrodi Cory, 15 pygmy cory's, 2 Hoplo Littorale, 12 Popondetta Furcata, 3 Bamboo Shrimp, 6 Amano shrimp & 1 misc long armed shrimp (possibly Indian). Plants, Sword, Bacopa Caroliniania, Vallis Nana, Rotala Wallichii & Cabomba, Driftwood. Susbtrate, sand + gravel. Ext filter.

    it would be better if the pole was hiden untill then end date, but not sure id this is possible.

     I think one vote is all thats needed - there are some great pics getting no votes but hey, it's a competition - thats the way the cookie crumbles!

    I think 1 is all thats needed, if you give the choice of more votes you just enable the same problem to happen 3 times over- what if everyone also votes for the same one as their second vote and we end up with 3 1st place results and nothing else?

    But we need to encourage members as much as possible?

    I have voted but felt it would be good to give a 1st a 2nd and a 3rd vote,for there respective places and thus would give more encouragment to all involvedBig Smile

    Hi thought about time i updated this! Tank no 1 = 3 retic rays,1aro,2 ompuk cats,8 angels,1 syd greshoffi{19 years old},1 syd unkown,1 stripped dora,1 plec,1 silver dat,1 pim and a soribum lima! Tank no2 = 6 auralis barbs,2 needle gars,1 molly,1 dat microlepis,1 trye track eel and 8 bristlenoses! Tank no 3 = 2 goldfish{on holiday}1 flag tail thingy{over twenty years old},4 silver dats,1 pim and a plec!

    I would have loved to have given a preference for 3 photos. That way, something I thought was good (but not the best) could still win if someone else loved it. Just a thought. We managed it in previous comps, so why not now?

    I don't have time to modify the voting system to achieve this, I don't want to say I'll do it then it just gets left and not done etc. I'll look into it when I have some spare time.

    Personally, 1 vote I think is all thats needed, having multiple ones,IMO, detracts from the point a bit.

     I have to agree that one vote is enoughSmile

     Maybe it would be easier all round if one person just entered 1 photo too. There will be plenty of opportunity to enter another pic another time. It doesn't matter how old they are. Let's face it, sometimes in the past there hasn't been a comp because of lack of pics.  And that was when only one pic per peson was enteredConfused

    I'd have thought that as long as everyone's playing to the same rules then it really doesn't matter; so whatever makes it easier for you lot that run the site really.
