Dodgy SD Memory Card?

 Just wondering if anyone can help?

My SD memory card (2gb) which has holiday pics and some communion pictures on it, seems to be acting up.

I had copied my holiday pics over to the memory card but it seems to be missing loads now.............arrrrr!

However what is really confusing is that the commmunion pics seem to have went funny.  Although I remember flicking through some of the pics on the camera display, they aren't showing up now.  But there is some file (corrupted?) which is a load of silly characters and says it's something like 4gb, however that can't be possible by the size of the MC.  I've tried to grab and copy them, but with no luck.  Keeps coming up with an error.

Do you think there's any program out there that I can possibly use as a viewer or something?

 Hiya Buddy,

try flash file recovery, from http://www.panterasoft.com/

down load the software, this will scan the card and let you know what it can recover, but you will need to pay for the licence before it will recover the files for you.... (but at least you can see if there is anything to recover before you buy!!!)

 I think I have used two free programmes to recover photos one may be http://www.z-a-recovery.com/demo-ir.htm and the other is http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file_recovery/info.htm?language=1 one or both of them recovered stuff from a corrupt CF card

I was copying over other files from it so havne't got round to it yet.  But here's hoping it works.
