i have posted this in the D.I.Y section but i havent had any replies.
i have an old cooler box out on my back yard thats been there a while and it has filled with water. when i went to empty it ready to put it in the skips i noticed there are some creatures in there.they are quite skinny the sort of remind me of silver fish insects, only swimming ones...lol, or even like minute tadpoles/sea monkeys.,god knows what they are but i was wondering if they would be ok to feed to my fish?
i have a tank with angels and silver d ollars in etc and i have a 30ltr biorb with guppies and balloon mollies and i have a few fry swiming around in there so i was thinking they maybe a good food for the babies...any ideas what they are or if they would be safe anyone please??
if so,do i just net them and put them into the tank or do i wash them under the tap?
any help would be much appreciated,
thanks in advance.

I'm not going to say a word.
Well apart from, yeah you could do, as Fishy says goldfish would no doubt give them a munch. What harm can it do?
*awaits a post in a few days saying there's 'Aliens-style gut-busters' in the tank*

Just ignore him ( I do), add one of two and see what happens, i would net them and not add any water with them, as the water maybe wont be so good. di
Oh yeah, good point there by fishy (that's unsual) about the water.
And she really meant 'one or two', not one of two, like you have to hold the other one in your hand.
I'm guessing their mosquito larva. these are great food and almost all fish will eat them esp angel's. Guppies and mollies will also eat them these are harmless to the fish, but if their not eaten they will hatch into mosquito's which is not the best thing to have in the house.
