Which is the best site to go for? www.thegreenmachineaquatics.co.uk seems to have all the plants I wanted but I haven't done the online thing before so abit unsure.

I know Bluedave mentioned that members here sometimes have plants going but I'm still waiting for my setup gear to arrive. Just getting a feel for which site I might be using.

Hi :)

I already have a thread 'The plant list' on that subject. I now have a pretty much finalised idea.

I saw Java, I'll pop over and have another look. I don't think they had some of the plants I wanted but I'll double check

I have used java for 'simple' plants like hygrophila, vallis, java fern and lotus lilies and have always been very impressed with the quality.

Bidding on 5 Java fern and a large handsized lump of Java moss.  The big question now is how do I plant it?  I know the fern you cant just bury the roots, and the moss is normally stuck onto some thing like bogwood or rock, so what are the tricks of the trade?

i attached java fern and moss by elastic bands, they seem to work, by the time the band disintrigrates its normally taken hold. di
