I use Riccia to make a 'carpet' for my shrimp tanks. I don't use all the fancy netting and wire, I lay some Riccia over a pebble and cover it with netting, I use one of those body scrub things cost 99p, stretch a peice over the Riccia and pebble and it grows fast and so lush.
Don't know if you can get it in Oz, but ebay may have some, or Aqua Essentials sell it.
