That stuff should all be ok. Ration the frozen stuff as it's all fairly high protein. Bog standard flake should be ok for everyday use, and you could also try vegetables such as peas (skin removed) and see if they like it.

7 8 tanks (tropicals) Big Smile, and a pond.

when i first saw the title of this topic i thought it was a politically in-correct reference to midgets  :bash:  :police:

all inappropriate humour aside, half of my fish are cichlids (biggest being a 4 inch Convict) and i generally ensure about 50% of their diet is frozen foods, in fact same goes for all my fish, i believe i have seen improvement in resistance to disease and overall behaviour indicating good health.

i am going off daphnia as NONE of my fish seem to keen on it, mostly spitting it out all the time, for my small cichlids i use

bloodworm, white worm, artemia (brine shrimp) and malawi veg mix
hmmm, cant shift this name

i'll answer it anyways!!!  :bash:

I think it's a good food because it's easily availble, is a good size flake, most if not all fish will eat it, it dosn't stink like some foods do, it's not too oily, it has a good amount of phosphate, some bits float for longer, and some bits sink quickly..

that do ya? Stick out tongue
