Angel in a community

Anyone here have experience with putting Angels in with the following "Zoo"

- Platy's (Population explosion...)
- Betta
- Dwarf (chain) Loaches
- Kuhli Loaches
- Amano Shrimps
- shoal of adult Cardinal Tetras.

My only concern is probably with the Betta him nipping the angels or vica-versa, otherwise he is very peaceful.

The LFS got in a big batch of juvenile angels about 3 weeks ago and could be going at a good price

I keep angels in a community and they do fine, they will keep your platy numbers down but I would be carefull with the Betta

Keeping the platys down is exactly what I had in mind, but not at the expense of the betta!

Oh well just have to wait for a few years!

Not only that I 'rescued' an adult male angel fish from my local LFS as he had been brought back in because he had developed a taste for cardinal tetras!!  :o

So now he is kept in my community tank with nothing smaller than a rainbow fish!
