i have a tiny tank at the moment im talking 70L im cleaning it every month or so. taking out all the water and rinsing the gravel. i dont have any fish mortality problems. so im guessing its not hurting anyhthing to do that but its anoying to set everything up again. and i dont want to hurt my plant...

well the first thing is the backing ( if you are gonna put one on) then next is sorting out the filter, is it internal or external, if internal it probably needs new sponges first, so find out what filter it has and what media it needs. Once you have decided where the tank is to go and given it a good...
